This week, we are showing: My Father, the Hero (1994)
A hapless father (Gérard Depardieu) falls victim to the romantic mischief-making of his teenage daughter (Katherine Heigl) while holidaying in the Caribbean. When the girl takes a shine to a fellow tourist, she tries to make him jealous by claiming her father is actually her older lover and has assumed the fatherly role to avoid prying eyes. Her plot backfires, and the result is a series of comic misunderstandings!
