In 1972, Shirley Chisholm (played by Oscar winner Regina King) makes a trailblazing run for the Democratic presidential nomination after becoming the first Black woman elected to Congress.  Based on the inspiring true story, the film co-stars Lucas Hedges, Lance Reddick, and Terrence Howard.
