DESCRIPTION:This show honors Pittsburgh giants of jazz and their music. Lo
 uis Lucarelli will be performing a variety of numbers with accompanying pi
 anist, Andy Yalch. Musicians from Pittsburgh have dominated the jazz worl
 d over many years. Some have left Pittsburgh and moved to larger markets, 
 others have remained in Pittsburgh. This show salutes their accomplishment

 ruments: Vibes and Voice.Lou is a Composer, Retired Music Educator and Lyr
 icist. He attended West Liberty State University, in West Virginia, gradua
 ting with a B.A. in music education with a percussion major. Prior to Col
 lege, Lou served two years in the Army’s First Division band as a percus
 sionist. After retiring from Pittsburgh Public Schools as a music teacher,
  he has played Vibes at numerous Jazz clubs in and around the Pittsburgh a
 rea. For the last few years Lou has also added vocals to his repertoire. 
 He has studied with voice teachers from Duquesne and CMU. Lou and his brot
 her Jerry composed their first album in 2004 under the name New Millennium
  Jazz Project which was called the Mushroom Queen. His latest album, Alone
  Again, Unnaturally, was put out in 2022, which he composed most of the mu
 sic. The album is dedicated to his late brother Jerry.  Andy YalchPianist
