Program Description

Event Details

Kids in grades 3 and up are invited to join us for Maker Monday! A makerspace is a place for hands-on learning with all the tools for creativity. Every month will have a different theme and different tools for the kids to use. Examples include robotics, 3D pens, circuits, and more! Projects will be hands-on, open-ended and encourage inventiveness and problem-solving skills.

Get ready to race! Join us for an exciting Maker Monday where creativity meets engineering. Kids in grades 3 and up will design and build their own balloon or wind-powered cars using everyday materials. Learn how air pressure and force work together to power your vehicle — then test it on our track! Will your car be the fastest?

This hands-on STEM activity encourages problem-solving, experimentation, and fun. All materials provided. No experience necessary — just bring your imagination!

Registration is required.
