Is your copy of War and Peace propping open the front door? Have you started Pride and Prejudice more times than your car? If so, join the book club devoted to turning that masterpiece into a piece of cake! We’ll tackle another classic work each month to see if it deserves its place on history’s highest shelf.

This month, we are reading:  Maximum Bob (1991) and Out of Sight (1996) by Elmore Leonard

Maximum Bob: Someone is out to get redneck southern judge Bob Isom Gibbs, nicknamed "Maximum Bob" because of the lengthy sentences he hands out. He is the target of a whole chain gang of baddies —including one very alive and hungry alligator—and they all come together to create one swampy comedy.

Out of Sight: U.S. Marshal Karen Sisco is on the hunt for world-class gentleman felon Jack Foley after he successfully busts out of Florida's Glades Prison.  But there’s a major score waiting for him in Detroit, and a shotgun-wielding marshal isn’t going to stop Foley from getting it.
