Program Description

Event Details

Get ready for a wild adventure! We’re partnering with Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh for a special three-part look at our furry and feathered friends.

Each month will spotlight a different creature feature from body language to nocturnal navigation. This month's presentation: Animals of the Night!

Do you ever wonder which animals are on the prowl outdoors when you are asleep? How do they adapt and navigate the world when the sun goes down? This program answers these questions and even gives a glimpse into how you can help these nocturnal natives!

Register for one or all! In this academy, you’re sure to pass with flying colors – or spots!

Bio: Humane Animal Rescue of Pittsburgh (HARP) is one of Pennsylvania’s largest non-profit organizations dedicated to the welfare of animals, pet owners and the community. HARP operates two low-cost, high quality veterinary medical centers. In an average year, over 6,500 animals are treated and more than 7,000 spay and neuter surgeries are performed in these facilities. In addition to caring for domestic animals, the organization remains committed to indigenous species.
